Bromsgrove Rovers AFC First Team are delighted with their latest Management recruit in the form of the highly experienced Assistant Yorkie Holdsworth.
You can’t buy experience, it comes within. With the key addition of Yorkie Holdsworth who boasts a footballing CV of working with Professional teams, Rovers have secured the services of a brilliant Management signing.
On his arrival Yorkie commented, “I had several conversations with The Chairman and First Team Manager and loved their enthusiasm and goals for this Club. They are ever expanding and I wanted to be a part of their journey. I can’t wait to meet the players and use my expereince to benefit the team.”
Yorkie played a key part in the teams recent 3-0 away victory in The Bill Hill Cup Quarter Final recently with some very constructive words to buoy the team on. The game saw leading scorer Robbie Davies bag himself yet another hatrick in the process.
Manager, Spencer Machin said, “It’s great that someone such as Yorkie has recognised what we are doing as a Club. His experience with be priceless and I can’t wait to be working more with him. His colourful character and confidence has already gone down well with all of the players.”
Finally, Chairman, Bryn Davies added, “I spoke with Yorkie leading up to him being introduced to the Management and Players. He comes with bags of experience and you can tell from speaking with him he is a big asset to The Club. He had several offers and chose to work with us which is very encouraging to hear. It’s a privelage to have him onboard.”
