On Tuesday May 10th, 2022 we are delighted to announce that we have been recognised with Football Accreditation through the FA.
A 48 page detailed Season Plan had to be completed for assessment by the FA on submission with many hours of work by Club Secretary Mark Whitehouse and Chairman Bryn Davies. The news comes as a huge bonus for the entire Club and everybody connected to it.
What does it mean and how does the club benefit?
The overall accreditation award outlines development objectives met by the club, proving the club has a sensible step-by-step process giving stability and shows they are willing to grow and be built to last.
FA Accreditation has replaced The FA Charter Standard award. It is an opportunity for The FA and County FAs to recognise all Leagues and Clubs who raise the bar and set the tempo for football to thrive within England.
As an accredited Club, we will automatically be transitioned on to the new England Football framework.
It’s there to keep things accessible, sustainable and safe, helping our club to run successfully both on and off the pitch.
There are also other benefits such as certain facilities offering reduced hire for pitches and purchase of certain items.
Once again, everyone should be very proud in the knowledge that the club is moving in the right direction with EVERYONE in mind.
