Rovers are seeking financial donations as they move the Club back to Bromsgrove in Stoke Prior. The money will go towards brand new Changing Facilities for all ages.
The club can announce some very positive news. After lengthy discussions, they will be moving to Stoke Prior Sports & Social Club for some of their teams to be based and to use as a focal point within the Community.
With that, we find ourselves needing to raise money urgently to replace existing changing rooms for players of all ages to get prepared/dressed and shower in a brand new and clean environment.
Club Secretary, Mark Whitehouse, Chairman, Bryn Davies and Kristian Rock from the Adults Management have all been busy to forge an honest and solid relationship with representatives at Stoke Prior Sports & Social Club.
“We are made up to be given such a great opportunity to see boys and girls teams flourish within the Bromsgrove Community, thanks to Stoke Prior Sports & Social Club. They are very accommodating and honest people and we are grateful for them recognising the potential in what we are looking to achieve not only as a football club but to offer the local community and Social Club itself a new lease of life,” Chairman Bryn Davies commented.
“The current changing rooms are in disrepair, so we as a Club are reaching out for any financial help and support from the local community, ” Davies continued.
Club Secretary, Mark Whitehouse added, “We have calculated we need to raise £20,000 and have set up a Just Giving Page for people to leave donations of any size. This is a long term plan which will not only benefit our Club, the young players, boys and girls, along with adults but Stoke Prior Sports & Social Club too as they themselves require such a facility for their own events. Whatever anyone pledges to offer will be going to 2 great causes. “
In the short space of less than 2 full calendar years, Bromsgrove Rovers AFC have gone from strength to strength on and off the field. Season 2023/24 sees additional teams joining and being set up, including the adults team moving back to the town, in the form of playing home games at South Bromsgrove High School.
